Zandvoort, may 2008. Yesterday was Queens-day in the netherlands. A day that typically everyone gets horribly drunk by noon and continues heavy drinking in the street while eating shitty bad street food, listening to miserabe street music and being hugely annoyed by all the other drunk people in the street. Although I did not participate in the more public celebration, I did have a hangover this morning. So I went to the beach and had breakfast there. It was not very warm, but very clear and that typical thing where it is cloudless over the sea and the clouds linger over land. Needless to say there was no-one on the beach today, probably all recovering from yesterday. I love it there!
