The New Hotel, Miami Beach

Miami Beach, November. I am staying at the ' New Hotel '. Just 11 rooms, very spacious and new and a great cute pool. And, in my favorite beach community, North Beach at 73 and Harding. What a great find!

North Beach

Miami Beach (North Beach), November 9th, BDI=9. I am back in Miami and for the first time I am staying in the North Beach area which is around 73rd street. I have loved this rea forever, because it has that authentic South Beach feel, but it is years back in its development. Not as loud, busy, cheap, tacky and crazy as Sobe, but the same feel, weather and look. Now there is a new hotel here (the New Hotel), I didnt think I would want to stay at the Days Inn, although it doesnt look that bad. I have only left this morning from Toronto and by 1 pm I am at the beach. It's a gorgeous day!

First to Miami

Toronto - Miami, November. I am in First Class, fabulous. Plane is full but noone next to me. First class on Air Canada is really great, so spacious on this A320. Because it is 9 am, they serve breakfast. I am shocked they dont have champagne. Cost cuts, damn! but Chardonnay is fine too, after all it is about 3 pm European time and I have only arrived yesterday. I really should stop drinking while flying, but I really love it. Especially going to Miami. Good old Miami, I love it there. Lived there, started my life there, met love and more love. I feel like going home there.

Upgrade

Toronto, November. I have arrived around 5 pm last night in Toronto and I am staying at the Marriott at the Airport. I must have been quite drunk from the flight, because I didnt even take photo's of my room service dinner which was actually really good. I love the jetleg, because by 5 am I am awake, happy, energetic and ready to go. I have a 9 am flight to Miami. With an upgrade I am super excited. Thank God they don't serve liquor in the lounge, I would take a few to celebrate. What a great atmosphere. I have some breakfast and just enjoy the moment. There is nothing like flying to Miami, the best place on earth, especially this way.
