March 18th. I have flown to Genoa. I always wanted to go here. It is a beautiful city around a harbor full of ferries and it feels very Italian. I am staying at Grand Palace Hotel Bristol that is a gorgeous grand old ' Dame'. I get a huge room, with high ceiling facing the street. I love it. The breakfast is served in a pink room, a full breakfast including prosseco, always a hit with me, any time of day. Too bad it is just for the one night.
