Cabanas, Algarve, Portugal, June 8th. I am back in the Algarve today for a few days with my mum and my brother. This is a yearly trip we take together and this time we came up with the eastern-Algarve as the destination. I think this part of the Algarve offers the most beautiful beaches in Europe. The weather was just perfect and this time of year the beaches are still pretty much empty. The landscape is very similar to fire island New York, beaches are reached by a small boat, there are no cars or houses on these beaches since it is a nature reserve.
