Amsterdam - Barcelona, 31 January. We are finally leaving the brutal winter of Amsterdam for a few days in Spain. Today we are flying to Barcelona staying one night with my friends in Sitges.
Sitges, January 31st. There is a certain sadness to beach places in the off season. Today we have arrived from Amsterdam in Sitges and Sitges is deserted. Temperatures are good at around 15 degrees, but the sun doesn't seem to be able to get through. It's good enough for us though, because the Netherlands is freezing. That afternoon I go for a 70 euro haircut and that evening we go out in friends in Sitges. Sitges is then very much alive and we don't sleep until getting to the airport the next morgning for our 11 am flight to Ibiza.
