Escavallet, October 11th, Beach day Index = 6. Can you believe this is the same beach I have been on so many times this year when it looked so tropical and bright. The sea's color amazingly blue, the sand white, with a nice crowd and Ibiza-style music coming from the speakers of beach club Chiringay. I think it was less than 2 weeks ago when it was a day like that. Today is much different. It has been windy for the past few days, creating a huge surf. It was in the local news today that a ferry from Ibiza to Valencia took more than 22 hours, because it has to avoid being lined up with the waves or the cars inside the ferry would have turned over. Although I prefer the sunny days on the beach, I love the versatility of the beaches caused by the weather.
