Zandvoort, 10 September, Beach Day Index = 8. I see that the light is changing again. It looks like we are heading towards fall and winter. How depressing. I went back in this log to the days in April of this year when I started my beach season here and you can see that the light is very similar. Although those days in April seem like ages ago, I still feel the fresh memory when I realized some day in July that I still had months of summer ahead of me. Those days have disappeared very quickly. How strange to see the beach so empty on a beautiful day like this, like people have decided 'it is over'. Well not to me. I am going to squeeze every beach day out of these coming weeks that I am able to... that's a promise.
